This recipe can be modified to taste as can most:

  • Take 2 pounds of 80% lean ground beef
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 large can 16oz mild chili beans
  • 1 large can 16oz pinto beans, cleaned and drained
  • 1 15oz can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 10oz can diced tomatoes with green chile peppers
  • 1 dry mix package ranch salad dressing mix

  • In a large pot cook the beef over medium heat until browned then drain off any fat. Add taco seasoning and mix and stir well. Put in all the rest of the ingredients that remain. Simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes or until it is heated all the way through.

Make sure to stir to be sure it is mixed well.

You can garnish with some Sour Cream, and Taco chips.

You can add some more chile's to make it spicer if you choose to.
