He believed that what he built should be in harmony with humanity and the environment. His philosophy was known as Organic Architecture.
His buildings included: many Churches, schools, office buildings, and museums. There were many other types of buildings and and much of his influence was not only in the outside design, but the interior furnishings that included stainedglass.
