These are the prayers you would use:

Before the service:

"Do Not Be Distracted From His Path"


The world can overwhelm you with its noise,
And with its vast intrusions on your mind,
And frequently His voice is hard to hear,
Amid the clatter of your daily life.
But do not be distracted from His path,
And do not give temptation any chance.
For even if His voice cannot be heard,
You know the basic outline of His plan,
As written in the Bible for us all.
If you will follow that, you won't go wrong,
Then maybe He will come to you again,
And speak unto you as His very own.
In Jesus' name I pray for you, Amen.

This would be used after the service:

I pray He gives His peace to you today,
And fills your soul with fullness of Himself.
I pray you recognize what He has done
And gladly give yourself to only Him.
In Jesus' holy name I pray, Amen.

This would be used before a meal:

"Invitation"

There is a banquet that is well prepared,
And you are now invited to attend.
No matter who you are, how great or small,
You are invited as a child of God.
Your Father will be waiting there for you.
He hopes that He will see your smiling face.
He has some special gifts prepared for you,
But you can't get them if you do not come.
And so I pray the Lord you will be there.
In Jesus' holy name I pray for you.
