Ask a Microsoft Word Question>I have a header that is a detailed table. I need info in this header/table to be autopopulated from the body of the document so that it doesn't have to be written over and over. Need help thanks.
How you would "best" do that depends on the version of Word. The easiest accross all versions is to bookmark the text in the document and then use "REF" fields in the header. The REF fields are defined to reference the bookmarked text.
I have microsoft word 2007...can you tell me where things are in the pull down menus? Would be so appreciated.
Insert tab>Links>Bookmarks (select the text and insert named bookmark)
Insert tab>QuickParts>Field (Insert a REF fields with the named bookmark as the reference.
