Hello, and welcome to Just Answer!

You can find step by step directions on how to cook steel cut oats in your rice cooker, here:
http://potteryblog.com/2009/01/cooking-steel-cut-oats-in-a-rice-cooker/

Make sure to use the measuring 'cup' utensil that came with the rice cooker (it's not the same as a regular 'cup' measure) and also make sure to follow directions exactly, so you don't have any boil-over.

Bon appetit!

I hope you have found this answer helpful; if so, please click 'ACCEPT', as this is the only way I am compensated for helping you (although you have made a deposit, no payment is released to the Expert until you click 'Accept').
