My neighbors sister died and I would like to go to the showing

Resolved Question:

My neighbor's sister died and I would like to go to the showing and the funeral. I thought highly of her and her husband is it right for me to go to the funeral?

Thank you for using Just Answer!

If she was an important friend to you then of course it is right for you to go to the funeral. The exception would be is if the family was not having open visiting hours and was only expecting immediate family and invited friends. Even then, you could speak to her family and express to them how you feel and ask if they would mind if you attended.
