Hello,

Welcome to Just Answer and thanks for your question. I think I found your great grandfather in Minnesota in 1885. The Minnesota State Census for Black River, Polk Co., MN has an Anton EMOS. It was enumerated 28 May 1885, Roll MCSC_36. He was single at the time.

Your great-grandmother Marie is buried at the Saint Louis Crematorium in St. Louis.

This link also has a reference to the death roll: Death roll: C 647, #1484.

That is really all I found other than the 1900 census for St. Louis.
