Under the circumstances you describe, you will need to contact the manufacturer of your safe, for instructions on how to recover your combination or reset it to a new one. If you have your owner's manual, it should have these instructions as well. I'm glad you mentioned you have proof of ownership for the safe, as this will be necessary, in the form of a notarized letter, before the company will supply you with any information.
