I can think of many reasons why living in a mobile home would be a source of pride. In this life we have a limited amount of resources...and have to choose how to spend them. Many folks place priority on family over material possesions. If living in a mobile home reduces the financial cost of "putting a roof over your head" it will free up money for other uses. This is nothing to be ashamed of.
