how can i mail a snowball to florida without it melting

Helloharryroger1 and welcome to JustAnswer.

You could pack the snowball in a tightly fitted, insulated box (such as a small cooler) with frozen gel packs and/or dry ice. Ship via overnight mail and it should get there without melting.

Alternatively, use Fed Ex, which will guarantee next day delivery ... and likely be cheaper as well (though the cost of either will far exceed the "value" of the snowball).
