I am searching for what I believe to be an Army unit patch

Resolved Question:

I am searching for what I believe to be an Army unit patch for the 21st Field Artillery circa 1938 - 1942. My father (before he died) created a home made replica for us. It consists of a round patch - white background with a red diamond centered on the patch. Any information is greatly appreciated. I am creating a shadow box of my fathers career in the Army, Army Air Corps, and Air Force.

Hello Rex, welcome to Just Answer.

This is a shoulder insignia of the 5th Infantry Division. The 21st Field Artillery was part of it after being in the 9th Division link.

Your father perhaps was in Iceland at that time: link
