Our company held a free prize drawing. The entrants filled out entry forms containing their addresses. Can those addresses be used by our company for advertising? Strictly for our own use, not sold or distributed. Basically, do these addresses belong to us because they entered the contest?
HelloCustomerand welcome to JustAnswer.

Yes, your company can use the addresses to mail to these customers advertising for your company. If you do not sell or otherwise distribute them to a third party, the people who voluntarily provided their addresses would have no basis upon which to make a legitimate complaint (though you should, of course, honor any request for removal from your mailing list).
