made a purchase online and did not receive full order. called company and they told me they made an error in their checkout page but i have a receipt for full order.

Give them a reasonable time (like one week) to deliver the balance of the order, If they don't, then call your credit card company and dispute the transaction. Provide them with copies of all email related to order especially the message from the company stating that they made an error.
