I was asked to come to another state for an interview for a job I really did want but got cold feet. I replied via e-mail that I could not accept the pay offered and ended the interviewing process. Now I realize I made a mistake and want to re-open the process. How can I gracefully do this?
I would send them an e-mail saying that the circumstances which forced you to decline their offer have changed and that you would be grateful if they would consider you an active applicant for the position again( if it has not been filled).
