5-2(3-2a)>5a-3(a+2)+1

ok, first we distribute (multiply) through the parenthesis

5-6+4a>5a-3a-6+1

now we combine terms on each side

-1+4a>2a-5

now we get all the variables on one side, by subtracting 2a from each side

-1+2a>-5

now we add one to each side

2a>-4

and divide by 2

a>-2
