If you are really looking for the "easiest cheapest" online degree, you will probably encounter many ads and solicitations from "diploma mills". I hope that isn't what you have in mind. Beware of them. This website has good suggestions for spotting them:

Information about Diploma Mills - eLearners.com

The University of Phoenix Online appears to be serious about providing an educationm and offers degrees of the type you describe. You may have heard of it already. If not, see University of Phoenix Online - Online College Education

This is not an endorsement of U of Phoenix, but I have heard people speak well of it.

The magazine US News and World Report has reviewed degree-granting online education programs. You can find their recommendations at

I believe you are asking a question which no one else can satisfactorily answer for you.

I say this because, no matter how much research a person or people do
on your behalf, there is no guarantee that the results would be either
accurate or exhaustive.

The 'cheapest' online masters degree may turn out to be very expensive
if it is not recognized by your current or potential employer as
adequate.

No doubt what I or someone else might consider to be an 'easy' online
masters degree program, you might consider to be too difficult for any
number of reasons.

The good news is that finding an online masters degree program which
will meet your needs should not be rocket science for someone who 'can
look up web sites'.

Here's how I suggest you go about it:

Visit the web site and/or contact whatever national
professional/accrediting organization(s) cover your teaching/coaching
subject area. Find out from them which (if any) online masters
degree programs they endorsed/rank/recommend.

Go through the same process with your current and/or potential employers.

After having done as you should have reduced the number of suitable programs down to a more than manageable size.

At that point it is just a matter of comparing the suitable programs in terms of cost and program difficulty.

Let me know if you need more input. If not, thanks for the
opportunity to assist you... I would really appreciate your honoring my
efforts by 'pushing the button' and Accepting this answer. Adding
a bonus -- should you wish to do so -- is always warmly welcomed.

Good Luck!

Steve

Reply to Oreport's Post: Online masters cheap, quick and accredited.
Expert:  Steve -- a.k.a. Oreport replied 11 years ago.

Thank you so much for Accepting my previous answer.

In regard to your post after accepting my answer -- if your purpose was to re-state your question -- and
add 'accredidation' as a factor -- I still can't answer it for you.

Here's why:

There may be many different accreditations -- not all recognized, or at least preferred, by your, field, employer, etc.

Again, not having looked the coursework in any online masters programs
-- how would you define 'easy' clearly enough so that someone else could
evaluate program difficulty according to your unique outlook,
abilities, limitations and temperment.

What is cheapest? You get what you pay for -- cheapest is cheap for a
reason. Keep in mind that there are scholarships available for
graduate school as well as grants and loans. At any rate, cost
should not be a primary factor in choosing a master's degree program.

Even if someone else could validly research this for you -- the money
your are offering won't justify the time involved. This is not,
by the way, a hint to get you to increase your question's $value.

Let me leave you with an important question to consider (which requires no answer to me) -- first, some background:

Assume that most Master's Degree programs require a good amount of
research for writing papers -- not to mention a master's thesis.

Also, take into account that you seem to lack the motivation as well as
perhaps the confidence -- if not the ability -- to undertake research
into online masters programs.

Now, here's the question:

If the assumptions in the last two paragraphs, about online master's
degree programs in general (and about you in particular) are
substantially correct -- Do you possess the motivation, temperament,
confidence, and abilities, necessary to successfully complete the
program requirements for a Master's Degree -- even if it is through an
'easy' online program?

Let me know if you need more input. If not, thanks for the
opportunity to assist you... I would really appreciate your honoring my
efforts by 'pushing the button' and Accepting this answer. Adding
a bonus -- should you wish to do so -- is always warmly welcomed.

Good Luck!
