ACCEPTED Check Mark

Hello, and thank you for a great question.

Unfortunately, in order to get a birth certificate, you must show proper identification at the issuing government's office. Certain states will allow a request by mail or fax. There is no official government website where you can view a birth certificate online. The only way you might see one is if a family member has uploaded a picture of a family member's birth certificate to their own website -- perhaps for genealogy purposes.

If you let me know where you live and/or what county the birth certificate was issued, I can inform you of all the possible ways to obtain your vital records.

If this information is helpful, please kindly click the "Accept" button. Bonus is always greatly appreciated.

Thank you, and best wishes in the new year!
