Genealogy Questions? Ask a Genealogist for Answers ASAP
Welcome to our site and thanks for your question.
Do you know where he was born?
Who he married?
Yes, I'm still here but working on the question.
I've checked all the birth records across the country and there are no records of his being anyone's father. That being said, New York does not make any records public.
I did find this:
I know you don't want to hear this and I'm sorry but the only way to learn if he had (other) children is to get in contact with him and ask. You can check www.whitepages.com for a current address.
My goal is to provide you with excellent service – if you feel you have received anything less, please reply back. I’m always happy to address follow-up questions. Kindly rate me (hopefully a “5”) when you are done.
How did you get them?
Only a parent or child can get a copy of a birth certificate. New York does make obtaining personal information on anyone very difficult to protect the privacy of the people concerned. This isn't anything new. New York is one of the states that has never made getting personal information on people easy.
You're so very welcome. I had hoped that someone might have posted something online, but there isn't anything at all.
You're very welcome. Please don't forget to leave a positive rating (hopefully a "5").
