I am looking for the parents or close relatives, during the same time period, of XXXXX XXXXX. He was born 10/19/1764 in Essex County, Virginia. He supposedly married a Nancy Vaughn in Essex County in November of 1786. They migrated to District 96, Pendleton District of S. Carolina around 1790+-. They then moved on to Franklin County, Georgia for a few years. They finally settled in Clarke County, Alabama around 1810. John died in Sept of 1842 in Clarke County. I have not been able to find any documentation of John's roots. Please help if you can. Thank you!

Unfortunately that information has not been digitized yet and can only be found by contacting Essex County courts, libraries, and genealogical societies and not readily accessible to us.
You will need to contact these sources where the primary records hopefully still exist and see if they can help you.
