Born in York District of South Carolina, married 8 Sept.1881 to Amanda Frances Goode. one son and one daughter. Had ties with Bullock Creek Church in York, S.c. Need his parents names.

It looks like his parents were Henry E. and Paulina Wilkerson.
Here are the censuses:
1880 - Bullocks Creek, York Co., SC
1870 Census Div 2 York Co., SC
1860 Census - York Co., SC
In order to find out what the "V" stood for you would need a baptism or other record. It may be on his death record.
I checked the 1850 census trying to determine Jane M. Jones relationship to the Wilkerson family and found this:
I imagine that Margaret P. Jones age 11, b abt 1839 was Margaret Paulina who married Henry E. Wilkerson. The marriage record is not available online. You would need to search for it in the courthouse or church records in South Carolina.
