Fortunately, the Wii's power brick ( the ac adpter that plugs into the wall) Is made so that if you do have a damaging power surge, the brick itself takes the damage, and not your wii.

Unfortunately, that means you must buy a new power brick.. Your welcome to get one at a store, but they will charge 29.99.. You can order one from the link below for less then 5 $..
