I am trying to activate my WII console. I can't get an activation code. I have already downloaded Netflix, and it works fine on my pc.

Ok, so you are trying to activate netflix on your wii.. and you have already downloaded netflix to the wii..

Did you try and start netflix on the wii, when you try to start netflix on the wii, it should then give you on screen, the wii netflix activation code.

( which you then go online to netflix/activate.. And use the code to activate it)

If its not showing the activation code when you start netflix on t he wii, let me know what it is doing and showing.

Thanks!

When I go to Netflix on the WII it brings up the logo with the 3 flashing dots. Then it says connecting to Netflix. It goes back to the flashing dots and then it goes to pictures of recently watched and other categories. Only those and the Top 10 will load. All the others say: We're having trouble accessing these titles for you right now. Please try again later. If I select one of the pictures, the show loads, but only about a quarter of the way, and then it stops. Very frustrating.

Thats understood.. So I take it you got past the activation issue Dorothy?

Please verify that we did resolve the activation issue. And then I can discuss the loading issue with the categories on netflix..

Customer replied 289 days and 20 hours ago.

I'm still exactly where I was before I talked to you. I haven't seen a code to enter, but i do see some channels pictured. The rest are still not reachable, and the channels won't load all the way. Not even half. It works fine on my pc.

Understood.. Netflix must be activated on the wii already, or else you wouldnt see any channels at all.

Ok.. For netflix to load all the channel info, it takes time and a solid internet connection.. Sometimes it helps to restart the wii.

And then go back into netflix, and when you do so, if it mentions anything about an update to netflix, please allow it to install all updates. Then, restart the wii again..

Once we get it working smoothly, it will continue to work smoothly..

Let me know if the restart helps, and if it offers any updates.. If not, then we will discuss other possible fixes.

I'm still right where I started. No luck. I think I'm going to quit for a while and let my son-in-law look at it tomorrow. Very frustrated.

Customer replied 289 days and 19 hours ago.

No thanks, I'm tired.

I understand your frustration.. Most likely, if today is the first time you set up netflix..

And if turning it off and on didnt help.. ( and no updates are asked for by netflix on the wii)

Then all y ou need to do is wait over night, and netflix should respond better.

If you would like to continue this another time, tommorow perhaps. I would be happy to continue assisting you as needed. And hopefully turn the negative rating left, into poistive one!

Thanks,

Dstin S.
