How are you connecting the XBOX to the Wireless Router? Ethernet or XBOX USB Wireless Adapter?
The xbox is not connected to the router.
Ok, how is the XBOX connected to the internet then? It has to either be plugged in to the Router directly using an Ethernet Cable or by a Wireless Connection. If you have the newest Black Version of the 360 then it has the Wireless Card built in and all you have to do is go into the Network Settings, select Wireless, select your Wireless Router and enter the Password XXXXX you set one.
If you have the older White one then you will need to either connect it directly to the Router using an Ethernet Cable or purchase an external USB Wireless Adapter made for Xbox and follow the same Wireless Setup.
