How are you connecting the PS3 to your TV? HDMI, Component, Composite?

Customer replied 304 days and 23 hours ago.

With standard AV component cable.

Have you tried the PS3 on another TV to narrow it down to either the PS3 or the TV?

Customer replied 304 days and 22 hours ago.

Yes i tried on a Sony HDTV then a standard Vizio TV and still no change

Alright so we know it's the Sony. How old is the PS3 and was it bumped around or dropped when transporting it from one location to the other? This is really looking like a Main Board problem and their not cheap to get repaired out of warranty.

Customer replied 304 days and 22 hours ago.

It was bought in 2010 and its a slim version and it was not droped or bumbed around

Ah, it's out of Warranty. Let's try doing a reset override. The Video tutorial on how to do this is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_X-gJv75wIw. Let me know how it goes.

Did the screen come up at all after the 3 beeps?

Customer replied 304 days and 16 hours ago.

No and it still wouldnt turn off

If that screen doesn't come up along with the beeps, that Motherboard is fried. Most commonly from a Static Surge somehow. If it's Hardware related, no magic button or tricks can fix it and will need to be repaired by Sony.

Customer replied 304 days and 15 hours ago.

How much does that usually cost

Sony's flat rate is $150.
