If you just bought this, call Sony and get it exchanged. The Laser is defective. I see and replace those Bluray Drives all the time and see this problem a lot. This will be fixed for free if it's still under it's Warranty. Hope this helps and please remember to indicate that I have helped you today.

Ok, you'll need to replace the Bluray Drive in it. You can get any drive that fit's your model and just swap the Main I/O Board in it since it "Married" to the Main System Board. More info on this here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qztw_aUBQhI.
