my ps3 keeps saying the hard disk file system is corrupted

Resolved Question:

my ps3 keeps saying the hard disk file system is corrupted and will be restored.
when I press ok it still says the same thing.what should I do?

lets perform a hard reset-


Power Off the PS3 via the power switch in back .


After that hold Power Button on the front until you hear 3 beeps.


Then go through the initial setup and then run a full Format via System > Format.You may need to have our AV cables ready if your using HDMI (in case HDMI isn't detected after initial reset).

By doing hard reset you will lose your game saves and settings

First of all we will have take out the hardisk and then format it via PC.

If formatting helps then its alright else we will have to replace the hard disk

First you have to take out the hard disk from the PS3.

Taking out the hard disk is very easy.

After that put it into a 2.5" SATA External Enclosure


Then connect it to your computer and then using swissknife software format it to FAT32 .

After that again putback the harddisk ........then you are all set.
