I took on a 9 year lease shop in Normandy. March 2013.

Customer Question

I took on a 9 year lease for a shop in Normandy. March 2013. Business has been very bad, and I now have to give it up because I am losing money every day I am open. I understand that I may be released from the lease after three years, which will be next March 2016. If this is correct, what is the legal action to take to terminate my lease, and would I have to pay any more money to the owner after March 2016? I have failed to find an English speaking solicitor in my area for this advice. Please could you help me? Many thanks Dolores XXX
