My children who are only 4 years old have been been accused

Customer Question

My children who are only 4 years old have been been accused of sexually abusing a 4 year old girl at a school in France. The mother of the little girl has told the head teacher that my boys are responsible; and the head teacher in turn informed my me. Neither the school or I believe that the incident took place l (for many reasons) but it has been referred to the police. Apparently the case is against "anon" so officially it is a open case while the police investigate. So far two teachers have been interviewed - i know the names of our sons have been brought up in these interviews; plus all the teachers at the school are aware of these allegations. I have emails, recorded meetings etc suggesting that my boys were involved in some incident and as you can imagine this news is heartbreaking. ESpecially as we know it didn't happen.

I want justice for them and their reputation! The police are still investigating - and i believe it is unlikely to go far (but you never know!); however i think its wrong that so many people are aware of and know of this allegation. I feel that certain people acted inappropriately in the handling of this situation and believe our children's names have been defamed. Do I have any recourse regarding this?
