Customer Question

We are being pursued by Credipar for a debt which we consider we paid in full 3 years ago. A Mise en Demeure arrived several weeks ago from a debt collection agency (Hoist) without any explanation or prior warning and we sent all documentation to them. They returned the dossier to Credipar because they could not see that we owed anything further. Today we have received a letter from Hoist saying the dossier has been returned and pay up. We obviously are not willing to pay unless we know why but never received any acknowledgement or detailed account from Credipar 3 years ago, despite requesting it. Can they pursue us without justifying it?
