I am a UK citizen. As UK based self-employed individual I currently provide consulting services to companies in the UK, Ukraine and France. I intend to temporarily live in France. Because I will travel a lot to the UK and Ukraine I am unlikely to spend more than 185 days in France per tax year. Do I need to pay taxes in France in this case?
Hello,
Thank you for your question.
If you don't mind me asking, I will need to know some further details from you.
How long will you be staying in France?
Are you currently paying taxes in the UK?
Do you own a home in the UK?
Does your family live in the UK?
How may days do you intend to spend in the UK?
I look forward to hearing from you.
