Hello, Photo recognition software doesn't get a hit with this photo. That doesn't mean he's not a scammer, but it does mean that the photo was not downloaded from the web and used in his profile. Did this person ask you for money? If you think he's a scammer you are probably right, but what makes you think so, and what do you want to know about this situation that i can assist you with?

Thanks. That's the typical "stranded traveler" scam. You meet him on a dating service. He falls in love with you faster than a speeding bullet and sweeps you completely off of your feet. And just before you can get to meet him, suddenly he leaves for a foreign country for work purposes. Once there, his work starts to wind down and he's finally going to get to come and see you but then he has a series of emergencies for which only your money will do. And he never gets an inch closer to the plane. Something new always happens and it's always expensive. And even though supposedly he is a businessman with assets, he only seems to want more and more of your money. The phone number traces to Indonesia but is a mobile phone which can be used anywhere in the world. You need to report him to the FBI at IC3.gov and to your police, because the only way you're going to get your money back if if the authorities can find him and bring him to justice.
