Someone called to buy my timeshare in Myrtle Beach. The name of the compan y is Resort Advisors in Glendale, CA. They sound legimate; but i don't know - they said they would send me a contract to review. Have you heard of them
Hello Jacustomer,I found a Resort Advisors in Phoenix, whose website says they are NOT Timeshare resellers. Their address is resortadvisors.com I also found one in Vegas which is resortadvisers.net. Or was before they skipped town. I find nothing by that name in Glendale. Do you have a website for them? If so, use the reply tab below to tell me what it is. The Better Business Bureau knows of the Nevada company, and gave it a rating of an F, their lowest rating. The company disappeared and is no longer answering their mail, and the BBB has that on the review as a red alert. Can't help but wonder whether they have moved to Glendale. The BBB has no record of them yet, nor are they in the California Secretary of State's business registry. Nor do I see any history of them on the web. Further, they have no California Real Estate license. All of this bodes badly enough so that even if you have a website it's not likely to change my mind. You should have nothing to do with this outfit. The Timeshare resale business is loaded with scammers. You have to be very careful to find a reseller with a solid and stable track history. To find a reputable reseller, search for a Timeshare Reseller on the Better Business Burea's website. Any of their accredited resellers have been thoroughly vetted, and you can also get the BBB's review of the site. I'm linking you here to their search page. Just type Timeshare reseller in the box on the left and your location on the right. You will get a list of reputable businesses in your area.Another very reputable source, endorsed by Clark Howard, is www.tug2.net. They also have a forum, which is tugbbs.com
