Lisa,Thank you again for the additional information. I am very sorry to tell you but both of these individuals you have been corresponding with are operating a scam. These so called "romance scammers" work by developing relationships with their victims online and then usually after "falling in love" and developing a relationship of trust, fabricate various reasons why you should send money. The people running these scams operate on a mass scale and communicate with hundreds of different victims a day, so they follow certain very particular cut-and-paste scripts. Although their stories often sound very convincing, the stories are ALWAYS the same and so it is very easy to spot the scams if you now what to look for. Most commonly, these scammers will claim to "get sick," often on the way to come visit, and need money for hospital visits--exactly as you have described. Very often, they will tempt their victims with promises that THEY will get money, and then inform them that "customs" has held the package and requires a fee for its release--again exactly as you have described. These are the tell tale signs of a romance scam. Do not be fooled. These men are not legitimate and every part of this has been a scam, right down to the imposter customs agents.See this warning from the Federal Trade Commission regarding dating scams: http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2010/11/onlinedating.shtmSee also this warning from the U.S. Embassy in Malaysia regarding online scams: http://malaysia.usembassy.gov/scams.htmlYou would be extraordinarily wise to immediately cease contact with these men, as nothing they are telling you is genuine and they will only come up with more and more excuses for why you should send money. An individual in your circumstance can report this scam to The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission, information for which you can find here: http://www.accc.gov.au/content/index.phtml/itemId/717452/fromItemId/716345/url]. You can also make a report to Scam Watch here: https://www.scamwatch.gov.au/content/index.phtml/tag/reportascam I am very sorry to deliver this unfortunate news to you, but trust that you will appreciate knowing the truth so that you do not continue to be victimized by these scammers.I sincerely XXXXX XXXXX this information helps you and I wish you the best.If you do not have any further concerns, I would be very grateful if you would give my answer a positive rating and click submit, as this is the only way I will receive credit for assisting you. Lisa,Thank you for your reply. The address that you provided does not appear to be a genuine address. Even if it were, that fact would unfortunately do nothing to prove the legitimacy of the person you are corresponding with. I could just as easily pick an address in New York and tell you my name was XXXXX XXXXX and that I live there, but none of that could be verified as true merely by the fact that the address exists.Providing a mailing address is a ploy commonly used by these scammers to "prove" they are legitimate. They are not. This is absolutely, positively a scam, and as noted above, you would be very wise to immediately cease contact with these individuals.Again, I sincerely XXXXX XXXXX this information helps you and I wish you the best. If I have answered your question, I would be very grateful for a positive rating of my service so that I may receive credit for assisting you. Kindest regards.

you told me david benson doesnt exist he just meet me recently so i dont know wo to trust really when it comes to money?
Lisa,Thank you for your reply. I hope you are well. Again, what you describe is almost certainly a scam. I would be extremey wary of any further dealings with these people, as what you have described fits the very standard mold for a romance scam.
