i got a e-mail saying i won 475,000.00 from usamegamillion they are asking me to go to walmart and get a green dot carh put 220.00 on it and call them back with the no. off the back of card.they didnot say it was lottary but a drawing

This is a classic advance fee or "419" scam. They are trying to get you to send a little money to get a lot of money in return. A legitimate lottery or contest would simply deduct the $220.00 from the winnings, not ask you to send it over using a Green Dot card. Another telling fact is that you were contacted by email. No legitimate lottery contacts you. You have to enter it and check the results yourself.

So, in all, this is an effort to take your money. Do not put money on a Green Dot card and do not contact these people further.
