Ben Jones :

Hello and thank you for your question, which I will be happy to assist you with. Please let me know what is your actual query?

Customer :

i have been approached by Event Saavy LLc out of Bellvue washington to sell my time shares to a mexican national. their offer sound too good.. also they asked that i use Ozarkl Mountain Title and Escrow company out of Kansas city

Ben Jones :

do they have a website?

Customer :

www.eventsavvyllc.com

Customer :

eventsaavyllc.net

Ben Jones :

ok let me make some enquiries on them

Customer :

i have a contract that i can either download or e mail it

Ben Jones :

it's ok for now thanks

Customer :

i am the owner of Mayan Palace time shares. i have looked at BBB and found no complaints, yet the Mayan Palace group say it is a scam

Ben Jones :

can you plese confirm their website - the first one you provided is an events management company, the second one does not actually work

Customer :

www.eventsavvyllc.net

Ben Jones :

Their website has only been around since March 2012. There is a company with that name registered in WA and they have been around since 2001. They are not a BBB-accredited business but have an A+ rating.

What is curious is that they are describing themselves as an event planning business and have nothing to do with the resale of timeshares. So I believe they are simply using the name of a legitimate business to make themselves look real, when in fact they have nothing to do with the real business whose name they use.

Having checked Ozark, they have also only been around for a few months. They are not accredited by the BBB and have no rating, although it states that their phone number is XXXXXXXXXXXX which is suspicious.

Finally, as the timeshare resale market is riddled with scams - never sign up to anything that asks you to make a payment in advance.

Customer :

ozarks web site is www.omtitle.com their phone number is XXX-XXX-XXXX

Customer :

they gave me a recent referral that closed with them. i called the person up, said he used an attorney who made some modifications to the contract and they closed with no problem

Customer :

if their are complaints against event saavy whey does it not show up on the BBB report?

Ben Jones :

They can give you the details of anyone they want, including their accomplices so do not trust that. As they are a very recently opened business they will not have many, if any, complaints

Customer :

did the number i gave you work?

Ben Jones :

We cannot call people on your behalf unfortunately, if you have it you can try it yourself

Customer :

appreciate your help, however the information given is nothing new which already found on google

Ben Jones :

opk not sure what else you were expecting, we can only give you information which is available in the public domain

Customer :

i was hoping that you were able to do more of an investigation, not what is already there. a little deeper that what i can find

Ben Jones :

there is only that much we can go. If something has been around for 3 months you can imagine that anything on them will be quite limited.
