Hello,I find many reports, mostly negative, about Online Business System on the web. What I can't seem to find anywhere is the company website. I might be able to give you more information if you know their internet address.Meanwhile, to get out of the deal, you have to look at the terms of the contract that you signed. Generally the company will tell you how you can walk away from the deal. Otherwise, if it doesn't and you can't reach them, you can try to get a chargeback through your credit card carrier. As it's only been 7 days, they can do this for you. If they refuse because you're under contract, , you can take the following steps:First contact the Better Business Bureau and lodge a consumer complaint. They know about this company and are in the process of reevaluating their view, whether for the better or not cannot yet be told. However, they will try to intervene on your behalf. From there, involve the various government agencies that protect consumers by filing formal consumer complaint reports. You would want to file one with your State Attorney General's Office and also with the State Attorney General's Office in the state where the business is headquarted, since that is where consumers would go to lodge an official complaint about a business. When complaints get to be heavy, they investigate, and can take legal action against them. Finally, you can involve our Federal consumer protection regulatory agency, the Federal Trade Commission by filing a consumer complaint with them also. Not that much may happen right away or, perhaps at all. But when these last two agencies get enough complaints to see a pattern and practice of unethical business dealings they can, and do step in. They haul the company into Federal court where the companies usually settle for enormous fines and heavy government sanctions. The money the goverment collects is distributed among those defrauded by the company. So even if it takes a while, you want to be on that list of people cheated by these businessesIf all else fails, of course, you can contact a civil lawyer and sue the company for fraud or breach of contract. Or, if the amount you invested is low enough that you may not want to spend more on legal fees, you can take the company to small claims court.
tjere web sight has no location of where there office is , is there some where i can find this out also i did not sign a contract with them i signed one thinging it was with them but it says herballife. and the credit card we allow them to take the money so can i still tried to get it back through them
Hi,From what I have seen, the Online Management System involves selling Herbalife. If that was not your understanding of what you were getting yourself into, then you do need to contact the company. Can you give me their website? I may be able to track it down through their registration information. All I can presently find is that the business is headquarted in Colorado.Otherwise, the number for the Better Business Bureau is(NNN) NNN-NNNN As they have a file on the company, they should also have contact information for them. It would be worthwhile to call them and ask them. Another place that may know is the Colorado State Attorney General's office, which is the state's consumer rights agency. I have linked you to their site. You could call and ask for Online Business Management's complaint history. I'm sure there will be one, and the state might have an address and phone number for them as well.As for your credit card, yes, you authorized the charge, but you didn't get what you thought you were going to get for the money you spent. Therefore you can request a chargeback. Some credit card carriers are more generous with regard to chargebacks than others are, but they could say yes, and that would solve your problem.
