i have recieved an email from Skout lovers boom lotto to say i have won £450,000 dollars, it says i have to pay the USPpostal service £568 english pounds to recieve this cheque ? Is this some sort of Scam or is it worhwhile pursueing it. THANKS

This is a scam. There are a variety of reasons why.

No legitimate lottery contacts winners through email. That is simply not how they operate.

Second to that, anytime anyone requests a sum of money to receive more money, it is an illegitimate offer. This is called an "advance fee" scam, or a "419" scam, which references the Nigerian criminal code that was written when these started originating there several years ago.

The logical thing to do (if this was legitimate), would simply be to deduct the 568 pounds from the total winnings. There is no legitimate business or financial reason for that sum to be sent in advance. I can most assure you that if you send that money, you will never see it again.
