Have you tried to adjust the bands?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
Would the intermediate band be to tight ? What were you saying about the brake switch how would that effect the shift to second gear
Expert:  kalamykid replied 1 month ago.

The automatic response system asked about the brake switch. It would not cause this problem. Yes the front band may be to loose, or the servo that applies it may have gotten hard and is not applying the band as it should.

Expert:  kalamykid replied 1 month ago.

I am sorry, not the front band, but the intermediate band, witch is the middle band.

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
You think the intermediate band is too loose ?

Yes.
