I have a 2003 BA Ford Falcon XR6 and just had a service the

I have a 2003 BA Ford Falcon XR6 and just had a service the transmission now looses reverse at times and bind other gears so neutral the car drive forward and reverse also bind sometime the it slips sometime moves forward
JA: When was your transmission fluid last checked?
Customer: had a transmission service 2 weeks ago
JA: Are you fixing your Falcon yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: no I am not fixing myself tried to discharge the battery charge against the body of the car fluid should be find
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: I do get reverse after moving the shifter back and forth several times

Hey how are you

1-is it a transmission internal slipping issue

2- is the shift linkage installed correctly after the repairs , did the binding started after the trans repairs ?

3- fluid level been checked after the repairs

4- any check engine light on dash or warning lights on ,on the dash now ?

5-did they find any metal shavings in the transmission fluid when changed ,if you know ?

6- what is the mileage on it ?

1. unsure forward gear revs always match the road speed only reverse when it cant be selected.
2 yes and he adjusted it a week later after the drive gear you had to select it twice at time before it would select. yes.
3.No but no leaks
4. No lights on the dash
5. Yes they did find metal shavings

HE HAS HAS THE ADJUSTMENT WRONG ,TAKE IT BACK TO HIM .

but metal shavings is worry some ,might need rebuild if re adjustment dont solve it for you
