Customer Question

just bought a used 2005 freestyle, drove it for a couple of days and the check engine light came on. My OBD reader does not power on when I plug it in but there is power to the cigarette lighter
JA: Does the light stay on, or does it blink?
Customer: stays on
JA: Are you fixing your Freestyle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: just happened tonight so I am trying to determine why the odb won't read
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: nope
