Hello and welcome!

My name is ***** ***** I can assist you with your question.

You might have a cracked or ripped air intake snorkle from the mass air flow sensor to the throttle body. It may be leaking or letting air in past the mass air flow sensor once the engine is put into drive.

It may be due to the engine movement when shifted into drive which allows the air intake snorkle to move in such a direction that allows air to come into the engine after the mass air flow sensor which can and will cause the engine to stall
