Have Ford Questions? Ask a Mechanic for Answers ASAP
Hello my name is***** am an ASE Master Technician and I am glad to help you with your question.
Most common cause is a faulty throttle body, it will shut down the vehicle if there is a problem. You need to get the codes scanned at the dealer to verify. Could be a faulty sensor in the gas pedal as well. There is also a tsb for faulty wiring. A code scan is the first step which will be done at the dealer tomorrow. This is not a common problem.
