I am getting a "fuel rail pressure sensor high pressure indicated" code 1169, a "fuel sensor circuit high input code P0193, "EGR low flow" PO401 code, "evaporative control system canister purge valve circuit malfunction" P0443, and a "cylinder head over temperature protection active" code for my FORD CROWN VICTORIA, 2005. I can see exhaust
whisping out of the driver side area, around windshield fluid tank, the car is hesitating to accelerate, acts weak in general. When the 1299 code went on last week (which has cleared after I added coolant
)I had been doing 2 h of mountain interstate driving (steep grades), stop and go in a city for a half an hour, at which point car was running choppy, didn't want to accelerate so I limped home. What are your thoughts? Car has 230000 mi.
JA: Do you have a scan tool to read the codes?
Customer: I have an OBD II
JA: Are you fixing your Crown Victoria yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I can't fix it myself. I added coolant to the right level, replaced the fuel filter, and plan on taking to a shop. What do you know about how the codes I mentioned are interrelated?
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
