Hi we opened the door and the alarm went off we cannot turn on the ignition or stop the alarm from soumding
JA: Can you turn the steering wheel at all? And what about the key? Is it worn or damaged?
Customer: we can turn the wheel and not the key is not worn
JA: What is the model/year of your Ford?
Customer: ford explorer xlt I"m looking for the year it's my dads car
JA: What year is your Explorer?
Customer: 2014
JA: Are you fixing your Explorer yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: so we put the key in the ignition and tried to turn it on but it will not turn on I have tried pressing OK on the steering wheel when message comes up to turn off alarm it does nothing the remote on the key does not lock or unlock the car right now either and have tried the red alarm button on the key nothing happens

Welcome, I'm Chris (aka Moose), my normal schedule online is around lunch and after dinner till early morning.

So far this sounds like an aftermarket system is on the vehicle interferring or the battery voltage is to low. Are either of those the issue?
