2005 Ford Escape with over 200k miles has intermittent

Customer Question

2005 Ford Escape with over 200k miles has intermittent locking up of brakes, and now it won't start. My daughter's car and she had issues the other day with locking the vehicle with the power locks.
JA: Have you checked the battery, particularly the terminal connections? Are they corroded?
Customer: They are tight and not corroded. The same thing happened about a month ago but it still started up. Battery checked out ok but alternator read low voltage.
JA: Are you fixing your Escape yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Just had the battery and alternator checked in October but nothing since
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: No

Does the engine crank over and not start or does it not crank over at all?

Are you looking for possible causes?

Can I start by getting your VIN?

Thank you!
