Heat does not work. Blows air, just not warm air
JA: Have you checked the coolant level? Have you checked the hoses for leaks?
Customer: yes.
JA: What is the model/year of your Ford?
Customer: 2001 Ranger 4.0
JA: Are you fixing your Ranger yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Coolant is fine. Warming the truck up now to see if both heater hoses going into firewall from engine compartment is getting hot.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: no

Once you have it warmed up, check both hoses and let me know the results and we can work from there.

In most cases if both hose are getting nice and hot that usually means you have a problem with the blend door actuator . Are you able to do some testing if I send you the steps?
