I accidentally tripped the P.A.T.S. and now my car won't

Customer Question

I accidentally tripped the P.A.T.S. and now my car won't start.
JA: Will the headlights turn on? Is the battery fully charged?
Customer: Haven't tried the light. I'm pretty sure the battery is charged.
JA: What is the model/year of your Ford?
Customer: 2001 Taurus.
JA: Are you fixing your Taurus yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I read online I could reset the computer by disconnecting the battery, and also some override that didn't work.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: I sort of did this myself. I was trying to prevent my brother from using my spare key while I was away, so I plucked some fuses, and when I put them back, there was a flashing red theft light on the dash and it won't start.

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
I do, but since I set it off, it doesn't work.

I removed some fuses, and when I put them back in, it didn't work.

Why did you remove the fuses?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
To stop undesirables from using my car.
Expert:  kalamykid replied 1 month ago.

I see. I will tell you a better way so you do not have this problem again, but for now lets see what is going on. Can you lock the doors with your key and wait 10 seconds, then unlock the door with the key and see if the car will start?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
I've locked and unlocked the doors several times with my key over the course of a week trying to fix this, and it hasn't worked yet.
Expert:  kalamykid replied 1 month ago.

Are you sure you have put all the fuses back in correctly?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
I took a picture.
Expert:  kalamykid replied 1 month ago.

Can you take another pic of both fuse boxes and post them here so I can double check and make sure they are all in correctly?

Customer: replied 1 month ago.
This is the only fuse box I've fiddled with.

I'm beginning to doubt if you can actually help, and at this point I just want my $5 back.
Expert:  kalamykid replied 1 month ago.

I can help, but you do not have all the tools you need at this time. If you would like, we can pick this up in the morning when you have the tools you need, or I can put in for a refund for you.

Refund would be swell. I'll find professional help.
Expert:  kalamykid replied 1 month ago.

No problem, buddy.

It's called passive agression. If I was actively insulting you, you'd notice.
