Hi, I’m Cary and I’ll be helping you today.
Please understand that I can't smell, hear, or touch the vehicle, so patience is appreciated. Before leaving the site make sure and leave me a rating. You can still reply to me as many times as needed, even after the rating..

Well first of all you would have a engine knock/pinging noise. Like low octane fuel in a gas engine. Does it sound any different?

Also it all depends on how much gas gets mixed in with the diesel that is already in the tank. Symptoms will range from loss of power, excess smoke, load injector and ignition knocking, sudden quiting all the way to burned pistons.
