I have a 92 mustang 5.0 that stalls out every so often. It usually takes a few minutes to restart. I have replaced fuel pump and filter and this still happens
JA: Is the check engine light on? Does the car stall at idle or when driving?
Customer: no check engine light. Most times driving along and it stalls
JA: Are you fixing your Mustang yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: yes. Fuel pump and fuel filter
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

When this happens agsin, be prepared with a spark tester to attach to a spark plug to check for spark.

You may have a bad CRANK sensor.

92 Mustangs dont have a crank sensor

They sure do, it's called the PIP signal inside the distributor.

The stator is the old terminology.
