The high voltage battery is at 200 volts and it has a new 12 volt battery every time i try to start it i just hear a clicking in the high voltage pack and then it kicks out . its a 2009 ford escape.
JA: Where exactly do you think the noise is coming from? And how long has this been going on?
Customer: it is coming from the battery start contactor in the battery pack .ive confirmed
JA: Are you fixing your Escape yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: yes i am i am a electro hydraulic tech and have worked with battery packs up to 10,000 volts dc. and i have cleaned all the grounds on the car which is when the contactor started working i cleared all the codes in the car and i just need some specs to work with my high voltage battery is at 200 volts is that enough for the car to run on? and whats the amp ratings
